Today marks a victory for America and a victory for justice. We owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women in the military and intelligence services. Their perseverance, skill and fortitude brought an end to the world's most notorious murderer. I especially want to commend the discipline and elite training of the Navy Seals.
Today, we remember those whose loved ones were murdered on September 11th and everyone who was touched by the crimes of bin Laden.
The price of liberty is eternal vigilance, and the battle against terrorism is not over.
